Castillo de Anna
Spain | Valencia
The winery is located in southwest Valencia at 700 meters altitude, in a beautiful natural countryside, full of ilex and oak forests, where trees, cattle, storks, and griffon vultures live in harmony. The area has a mild continental climate, influenced by the Mediterranean, 50 km away.
The vineyards have good sun orientation to allow a natural ripening of the fruit. 85% of the vineyards are non-irrigated (dry-farmed) and most of the production is harvested manually. Following a careful on-field selection, the grapes are destemmed, crushed, and later transferred to stainless steel vats.
